Lloyd Lee, President and CEO

Lloyd was born and raised in Texas and has lived in the Central Texas area since 1992. Lloyd worked in construction during college, which spurred his interest in building. After graduating, Lloyd worked in the high tech industry and gained an appreciation for using new technologies to solve old problems. His passion for building and interests in technology led him to pursue an active role in sustainable construction and renewable energy system integrations. Lloyd takes great pride in the fact that he contributes to an industry which helps people save money and live healthier while reducing negative environmental impacts.

David Dixon, Chief Technology Officer

An Austin resident since 1998, David earned a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin with a focus in environmental science including solar design. His interest in renewable energy was sparked by his middle school science project and was further developed into a passion while at graduate school in Austin. David is now working to enable the day when solar installations are as common as air conditioning. David is a NABCEP certified PV installer and an IGSHPA Certified Geoexchange Designer. He has been involved with renewable installations and construction since 2008.

Nick Ryza, Chief Financial Officer

Nick earned a Bachelors of Science from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and a Masters in Business Administration from St. Edwards University. Nick spent 10 years as a sales account manager in the high tech sector before transitioning to the green technology industry.

JP Novak,

Soon to be living off-the-grid in the foothills of the colorful Hill Country of central Texas, JP Novak, NABCEP Solar PV Designer and his wife Elena and sons Jackson and Ezra are learning daily what sustainable living really means. He believes that what we build now is the legacy of how we will live in the future. If he is not busy producing Photovoltaic System designs, he is reading green building technical manuals, checking out new sustainable community ideas, conceiving new technology or system applications, or perhaps enjoying a morning coffee.  Follow him on Facebook or Twitter.

Jason Duvall,

Jason plans and designs all HCEP’s rainwater collection systems, and has been involved in building homes for over 10 years. From sales to warranty he has worked within nearly every step of the residential construction process. Jason’s realization of the pressing need for more sustainable building practices and the incorporation of renewable energy resources led him to Hill Country Ecopower. Jason has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas State University, is a Graduate Master Builder and Certified Green Professional through the NAHB, and is an ARCSA accredited rainwater systems installer.
