We take a holistic approach to solving your energy needs. Simply installing solar panels on the roof is not necessarily the most cost effective way to mitigate your energy costs.

Before sizing a solar system to offset your energy usage, Hill Country Ecopower recommends that you undergo an energy audit to find ways to reduce your energy needs. We will review the options with you and find solutions to lower your energy bill in the most cost effective ways possible.

For example, your air conditioning may be overworking because of leaking ducts in the attic. It does not make sense to install solar panels so that you can air condition your attic! In this case the cost effective solution is to seal the ducts.

Maybe you have an inefficient, propane fired hot water tank. A solar hot water solution may make financial sense for you.
