UTILITY REBATES
In today’s renewable energy friendly climate, there are some great utility provided incentives that will reduce your system cost. Rebates for a PV installation vary by utility, but the relevant ones in our area:

      Austin – Austin Energy: Provides a $2.50/watt rebate up to $15,000 per residence. New energy
                                            efficiency requirements are also required as well. This covers around 40% of                                             the total installation cost.

                   Dallas – Oncor: Provides a $2.46/watt rebate up to $24,600 per residence or $2.24/watt                                             rebate up to $224,000 for businesses. This covers around 40% of the
                                            total installation cost.

San Antonio – CPS Energy: Provides a $3.00/watt rebate up to $30,000 per residence or $100,000 per                                             business. This covers over 40% of the total installation cost.

FEDERAL TAX CREDIT
Recent federal legislation enacted this year provides a 30% tax credit for homeowners and businesses on the cost of a PV system or solar hot water system. Please consult a tax adviser on how to apply this credit.
